Reopening of Blue Nile Mashreg Bank – Omdurman Branch

In a distinguished celebratory atmosphere and with high-level official attendance, Blue Nile Mashreg Bank inaugurated its branch in Omdurman on July 7, 2025, in a step that reflects the bank’s commitment to expanding its services and strengthening its presence to better serve its customers.
The bank was honored by the presence of several prominent officials, including Mr. Al-Tayeb Saad Eldin, Director General of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism; Mr. Saif Eldin Mokhtar, Executive Director of Omdurman Locality; and Mr. Qorashi Suleiman, Director of the Central Bank of Sudan – Khartoum State Branch.
H.E. Ahmed Othman Hamza, Governor of Khartoum State, affirmed that the opening of the branch represents an important step in alleviating the challenges faced by citizens who have long had to wait for extended periods in front of banks to complete their financial transactions. He noted that the reopening of branches contributes to reducing congestion and accelerating financial services, in support of the state government’s efforts to restore stability for the residents of Khartoum.
